Beautiful and GREAT place for a Wedding or event
WOW! The River Mill is beautiful! The wedding was fabulos and the grounds and staff did a great job! If you are looking for a wonderful place to have your wedding look no more! The grounds are well maintained , it was like no other place I have attended.The staff is extremely helpful. There is a great Romeo & Juliet Window for a pictutre as well as countless well groomed and maintained areas throughout the grounds. The River Mill is tucked away in a quiet remote area that enchanced the day, away from the hustle and bustle. The service staff did a great job and the evening was wondeful. I would reccomend this place to any of my friends! It would be great for any type of event. All the guest seemed to be equally impressed!

Wedding Reception Factory - 2nd Comments
3.) Poor time management - THE BRIDAL PARTY was ON TIME. We were at the location EARLY. BUT they wouldn't let us in. The Factory said "to wait for the bride to arrive." My response to that statement is, "how about we get in early, so we can prepare FOR the bride." What would happen if the Bride was late? The River Mill will charge you if you are not OUT OF the FACILITY by a certain time, so why can't we arrive early? (it's not like there as ANOTHER wedding before my friends that morning).
My friend who was the Bride said she was treated well, which is good. But she'll get married only ONCE. If THE RiVER MILL is trying to leave a good lasting impression for FUTURE BRIDES, then they already lost my business and several others. If they get a change in management, then I may use them for future events. But for now, I cast a 1-star "You're Fired" ballot to the The River Mill.

Beautiful and GREAT place for a Wedding or event
WOW! The River Mill is beautiful! The wedding was fabulos and the grounds and staff did a great job! If you are looking for a wonderful place to have your wedding look no more! The grounds are well maintained , it was like no other place I have attended.The staff is extremely helpful. Not very helpful on the phone for wedding guests!
We lost the wedding invitation with the address to this place. It was the day of the wedding. We were traveling in from out of town to this timbucktu location out in the boonies. Did a web search for places we thought sounded familiar for the wedding location: "French Mill?," "French Camp?," etc. Called this place to confirm that this is where our friends were getting married, and they would not answer any of our questions! Supposedly because of privacy to prevent wedding crashers! We told them the date, time and names. We knew everything except the specific location. They wouldn't help us at all! You would think it was a Royal Wedding or one for Brad and Angelina or for Oprah or the President 's daughter! We were not impressed.

I attended my grandmother's wedding at The River Mill and not only was the ceremony beautiful but the service was great. They took care of all the arrangements from the parking attendants to the wedding cake to the floral arrangements. My grandmother was free to concentrate on other things and did not have to worry about the wedding details. The Event Coordinator was very efficient and helped make the wedding a night to remember for all who attended.
