SITUATION: OUR PROPANE TANK HAS BEEN EMPTY SINCE MARCH 3, 2010; IT IS NOW MARCH 9, 2010. OUR PROPANE TANK IS STILL EMPTY. I AM STILL ATTEMPTING TO GET THE TANK FILLED BACK GROUND: This is for an elderly person who is on a fixed income, for this reason he can only afford to order the fuel 100 gallons at a time to better manage his energy affordably on what little income he receives. ADDITIONALLY: He also has a doctors notification requiring that there be heat available at all times specifically during times of extreme cold; the river area for the past week (March 1 through March 9, 2010) has been experiencing record cold for this time of year, dipping down into the thirties. Further, it is illegal to refuse energy service to a customer whose primary heat source. SERVICE RECEIVED We contacted Amerigas after receiving no refill from Ferrelgas (please see their review from us), and explained the situation. Their response was extremely inappropriate. They asked that we first pay for a completely unnecessary line inspection fee of $45. legal requirements for this type of inspection are only when a tank has been sitting unused. Then the rate was $3.93! UNHEARD OF more than $1.50 over the going rate of $2.35. all total, the price quote was just under $450. for a 100 gallon fill. That is more than 1/2 of this persons net income. It is also evidence of price gouging of the elderly, terms for elderly endangerment, and Amerigas has shown the gross irresponsibility that comes with greed.

My daughter went to Dominican U (DU) at San Rafael, on 65% scholarship. She drove my ‘02 Boxster from San Diego. Next day she told me about engine hesitation. I went up & we drove to Sonnen Porsche (SP). They took the car for inspection ($180). Gary from service called to tell me that the x-mission had NO fluid & was "completely" shot!! [Question: How could my daughter drive 600 miles from San Diego with NO x-mission fluid?] I told Gary I would go back @ end of January 2009 to get my car. Gary got an okay from "Richard Runk", the service manager. We went to SP on first Saturday of February 2009. The sales people laughed and told us that "Richard” had already auctioned off my car. From the news my daughter had a mental break down. She had to drop out during second semester at Dominican University. She also lost her scholarship, etc. My family went through turmoil - treating (psychiatric and counseling) our daughter. I called Sonnen Porsche and left several messages for Peter Sonnen (owner) to return my calls. I never received any return courtesy call(s). The Verizon (cell phone) and Cox telephone (home phone) record will show calls from me and none from Sonnen Porsche. In the past I posted my displeasure on Sonnen Porsche at www.yelp.com . Richard Runk, the service manager, sent me a threatening e-mail via Yelp, stating “If you do not remove your post with my name in it I will begin to post what I found in the car and why your daughter had a nervous break down.” I will leave it up to you to judge the character of people at Sonnen Porsche and if they have scruples. I visited the Marin County Superior Court website and performed a quick search on “Sonnen” as the defendant, for the time frame starting from mid 2001 through February 2010. The county record displayed 54 (fifty-four) individual law suits with judgments against Sonnen Motor, Peter Sonnen (owner) and other individuals with Sonnen ownership, etc. Thanks for listening and please watch with whom you do business.

I ordered a pair of boots online for $152.00 from Mammoth Motorsports on 3/3/2010. The next day a message was left on my voicemail from Mammoth Motorsports that they had the wrong price on their website. The new price is $239.00. Mammoth Motorsports would not honor the price they had on their website even though I have the invoice. At first, the manager didn't offer me a discount but after I told her the message that was left that I would receive a discount the did she offer me a price for $215.00 the boots.. Their prices are not guaranteed the lowest as they state. Mammoth Motorsports said they can't keep up with the prices changes on their website. To me, they shouldn't have a website if they can't keep up with it. I TOTALLY disappointed with their service. I would never recommend Mammoth Motorsports to anybody I know. A large custom made copper part (an ornate range hood base) that took me almost three weeks to fabricate was damaged beyond repair due to an unknown impact, while in the possession of Santa Rosa Plating. The owner refused to give me the name of his insurance company or offer any compensation, or even an APOLOGY. I was forced to fabricate a replacement @ a cost out of pocket to me of almost $8,000.00 In addition, I had been quoted $800.00 for the plating of this and two other parts, and when the owner called to tell me it was ready, stated that he had decided to charge me $1,200.00. ALSO the nickel plating on the other parts proved to be way too thin and rubbed off.
